Cultivation of blackcurrants

The climatic conditions of Latvia are particularly favorable for blackcurrant. They provide optimal temperature and humidity. As a result, blackcurrants rarely freeze and they practically do not get sick.
Every year, inspectors from SIA "STC" (Certification and Testing Center) come to the farm to perform the certification procedure.
Starting from the third year of cultivation, blackcurrants are harvested mechanized using special berry harvesters. Berries are delivered to customers in both fresh and frozen form. According to the wishes of the customer, the berries can be packaged and sorted according to categories A and B.
